Industrial Entries must be displayed WITH an envelope attached. The envelope MUST HAVE the exhibitor's name inside AND the class number clearly on the front of the envelope !

SWI Section (Celebrating 100 Years)

Presented by Pringle of Scotland for most points in SWI Section.

Old Favourites and New Ideas - A Celebration Afternoon Tea

A selection of 9 sandwiches (3 x different fillings, 3 of each) 3 scones and a selection of Fancy Cakes (2 x different types, 3 of each)
A 4-inch square handcrafted napkin A Flower arrangement for a Tea Table
A home made preserve to serve with scones  

 

Fifteen Cake

Ingredients
15 Marshmallows
15 Digestive Biscuits
6 Glace Cherries
A handful of walnuts
Small tin of condensed milk
Desiccated coconut to finish

Method

  1. Chop the marshmallows and cherries and crush the digestive biscuits
  2. Mix all the ingredients together except the coconut, 
  3. On a sheet of tin foil spread the desiccated coconut
  4. Spread the mixture onto the coconut and then roll into a Swiss roll shape
  5. Leave to harden in the fridge for at least two hours
  6. Cut into slices
